What kind of support can you help me with?
We’re here to help you live the way you want to live. Our personal care service includes support with washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, continence, meals, medication, mobility and daily routines. We also offer friendly companionship, light household help and support to stay independent for as long as possible. Everything we do is centred around your choices, preferences and goals.
Are you registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)?
Yes. We are fully registered with the CQC to provide Personal Care. This means our service is regularly inspected to make sure it is safe, caring, responsive and well-led.
Who will be supporting me?
You will be supported by experienced, DBS-checked care professionals who are passionate about helping people live well at home. Our carers receive thorough training, regular supervision and ongoing development, so you’ll always be in safe hands.
How do you get to know me and my needs?
We start with a free home visit to understand what matters most to you, your routines, strengths, challenges, likes, dislikes and preferences. Together, we’ll create a personalised care plan that reflects who you are, not just your care needs.
Will I get to choose when carers visit?
Absolutely. Your routine is important to us. We will work with you to arrange visit times that fit around your day and help keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible.
How much does the service cost?
Costs depend on the length of visits and the type of support you’d like. We’ll always be open and transparent about fees, with no hidden charges. A clear price list is provided before care starts.
Do you support people with different conditions or needs?
Yes. We support people with a wide range of needs, including dementia, mental health needs, physical disabilities and long-term conditions. Our approach is always tailored to the individual.
Can I change or cancel my visits?
Yes. Life happens. If you need to cancel or change a visit, just let us know with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Will I have the same carers?
We understand how important it is to feel comfortable with the people coming into your home. We aim to provide consistency by allocating you a small, familiar team of carers who understand your needs and preferences.
How do you make sure the care you provide is safe and good quality?
Quality and safety are at the heart of everything we do. We carry out regular supervision, spot checks, training updates, audits and reviews. We also use electronic care notes so you and your loved ones can stay informed.
How do I pay for my care?
We support a range of payment options: private self-funding, direct payments and local authority funding (where applicable). Invoices can be weekly or monthly, whatever works best for you.
What if I have feedback or a concern?
Your voice matters. If something isn’t right or you’d like to suggest a change, we’re always here to listen. We follow a clear, fair complaints process and work with you to put things right quickly. If you’re ever unhappy with the outcome, you can contact the CQC for further support.
Do you provide urgent or same-day care?
Where possible, yes. If you or a loved one needs support urgently, we will do everything we can to help, subject to availability and a quick assessment.
How involved can my family be?
As involved as you want them to be. We can share updates, involve them in care planning, or keep things completely private, it’s entirely your choice.
